ok, but displays wrong serial number on EOS 40D

I use this app with my old Canon EOS 40D.
The shutter count and all the other info is displayed very easily and straightforward.

However the serial numer is displayed incorrect, as others have mentioned as well.
Interestingly, the EXIF data on my photos DO state the correct serial number (the number on the sticker at the bottom of the camera body, just to clarify)

If I were ever to use this info as a selling tool to display my cameras low shutter count, I will simultaniously raise the issue of a mismatching serial number, hence the buyer might think i am trying a "bait and switch”.

Therefore, this app has only limited use for me, even if I do (want to) believe the shutter counts are retrieved and displayed correctly.

PS:
and NO, the EXIF data on the 40D does not contain the shutter count info, unlike it is the case with some other camera models ...
